The New Haven Free Library presents a special exhibit of technical pen and ink illustrations, in celebration of Women’s History Month 2024 drawn by Connecticut Artist, Graphic Designer and 3D Computer Model Maker L. Llewellyn James. 

The exhibit is titled: We have nothing but fury, for anyone leaving Women in any way scorned: a pen and ink art celebration of women of importance, from around the globe 

The pieces span the course of the 20th and 21st century, focusing on women who have made sizable contributions in the realms of arts and entertainment, business, government and science. 

A working artist with over 25 years of experience in a wide array of artistic pursuits including Documentary Filmmaking , Illustration and Compute Model creation, L. Llewellyn James’ work in this exhibit seeks to delve a bit into the beauty and wonder of the self-made woman, no matter what continent, circumstances or life travails she has had to overcome.
