NHFPL Foundation
The New Haven Free Public Library Foundation raises funds to support the mission of the New Haven Free Public Library and builds awareness of the Library's community impact.
A donation to the New Haven Free Public Library is an investment in your community.
Your gift supplements the city’s commitment to library operations by growing the print and digital collections, diversifying library programming, and expanding the resources we provide to all who enter.
A truly public place where everyone is welcome, the New Haven Free Public Library is not just a home for lifelong learning, cultural exploration, and civic engagement but also a critical access point to bridge the digital divide and democratize access to the tools and skills of the 21st-century.
In 2017, the New Haven Free Public Library Foundation launched the Stetson Library: The Next Chapter campaign to move the Stetson Branch Library into a new home in the Q House. As a cornerstone of the reimagined community center, the new Stetson Library will enjoy a 60% increase in space and will feature an expanded collection of books and materials, improved and enhanced services, state-of-the-art technology and hands-on learning equipment to better serve the evolving needs of New Haven’s residents.
The NHFPL Foundation is a 501(c)(3) exempt organization, federal tax identification number 06-1283798. Gifts are fully deductible under federal tax regulations.
