The New Haven Free Public Library is thrilled to continue to grow its partnership with KNOWN Coworking (139 Orange St, 4th floor) by announcing its Reading Room at KNOWN. This reading room is designed to share a sampling of books held in NHFPL’s Ives Squared with the entrepreneurs using the KNOWN coworking space, without them needing to come to the library in person!
Every month, the NHFPL will bring 10 new books to the Reading Room at KNOWN focused primarily on entrepreneurship, marketing, and management. Users of the reading room can browse these materials while they are at KNOWN. Need additional resources? It is only a 6-minute walk over to the Main Library at 133 Elm St. KNOWN users are also encouraged to contact Ives Squared with suggestions of topics or titles that they would like to see in the reading room in the future!
For New Haven residents, getting a library card is free and easy at all NHFPL locations – all you need is a photo ID and proof of address. Not a New Haven resident? You can still obtain materials from the library by bringing by your hometown library card and having it input into our system.
Whether you are a KNOWNpreneur or just using a day pass, have reserved a desk or have a dedicated office at KNOWN, the New Haven Free Public Library is here to support entrepreneurs in their endeavors. We would like to extend our thanks to Juan Salas-Romer, Barb Nagle, and Giulia Gambale for helping us get this resource up and running.
