Enjoy crafts, building activities, and video games with Matt Yanarella from MY Productions CT, face painting with Jordyn, an author visit from Dr. Tiffani Bell Washington, and indoor mini golf.
Mitchell Branch

We’ll have our annual ladybug release
and a visit from Country Quilt Llama
Farm. Meet a llama, play lawn games,
enjoy a popsicle & bubbles, and make
a special craft led by the Yale Center for British Art.
Wilson Branch

All hands on deck! Celebrate the end of the school year and beginning of summer reading with Xen’s Critters farm animal petting zoo!
Xen’s Critters will be on the lawn next to Wilson Library. In case of rain, they will be in the Atrium.

Join us for a spectacular puppet show featuring beloved puppeteer, Iyaba Ibo Mandingo!
Fair Haven Branch

Explore the wonderful world of
reptiles and amphibians with
Riverside Reptiles. Pet a lizard,
stare into the eyes of a large
frog, or get close to a giant python.
YOUR GOAL: Read 1200 minutes this summer and win cool prizes along the way!
Parents and caregivers count every 20 minutes the child spends reading. (Storytime participation, reading to your child, and magazines all count!)
Earn a small prize for every 2 hours of reading completed!
Complete the challenge to receive a free book and certificate for completing all 1200 minutes!
GRAND PRIZE: A Private Peabody Museum Tour!
Completing the challenge also earns an entry in our raffle to win a private tour of the Yale Peabody Museum for a child and their parent/caregiver!
