Service Updates at NHFPL

While our services have changed in response to COVID-19, be assured that library staff continue to serve our community as best as we can.  Right now you can enjoy your library in a variety of ways and stay tuned as we continue to expand our services as safely and quickly as we can.  

NHFPL Curbside is Available Now! 

Curbside pick-up is available Monday – Friday from 10am – 5pm by appointment at all NHFPL locations and Saturday 10am – 5pm by appointment at Ives Main Library.  For more information on curbside, please click here. 

 


Visit the Ives Main Library Tech and Study Centers by appointment! Sessions are currently offered during these times:10-11:30am, 1-2:30pm and 3-4:30pm. Call 203-946-8130 x 101 to schedule an appointment. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before in advance in order to use the full 90 minutes of your session. These areas are open to individuals 13 and older. Walk-ins are welcome when capacity allows. 

Guidelines for Visiting the Library:

In order to keep all of our visitors safe, please observe the following:

  • Face masks must be worn at all times when picking up library materials or visiting the Tech or Study Centers.
  • Maintain social distance staying at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people. 
  • Do not visit if you are sick.

Events for all ages have gone virtual!

It has never been easier to join in the community fun at your library.  Join us for craft programs, Take and Make kits, book discussions, story times and more from virtually from anywhere with your computer or smart device.  We’ve got something for everyone!  View our calendar of events by clicking here.  In need of a Wi-Fi hotspot during this time to take advantage of these services? Simply call our Ives Main Library at 203-946-8130 x 101 to reserve one for check out.  These hotspots check out for up to 3 weeks and can connect 3-5 devices to free internet.
