Please note that the Stetson Branch will close to the public on August 16th at 2pm.

With summer in full swing, it’s not too late to join our summer reading challenge for adults!

Read books, attend library events, or stop by community events to complete the challenge and be entered into a drawing for prizes of $25, $50, or $75.

Stop by Ives Main Library to pick up a stamp booklet and to get your booklet stamped! Return your completed card to Main to be entered into the drawing.

Participants will earn one point (stamp) each for any of the following activities:

  • Read (a book, graphic novel, e-book, or audiobook)
  • Write (a book review or a review of an event or activity they completed)
  • Do (an activity: attend live or virtual programs, visit a park or museum, etc.)

* Your school or university summer reading counts for points*

At 10 points, you’ll get a free book!

At 20 points, you’ll get a tote bag, a book, AND a single entry for our prize winning drawing!

Drawing will be held Friday, September 9, 2022

Participants must be eligible for a New Haven Free Public Library Card in order to qualify for a prize. Limit 1 free book and 1 prize bag per participant. No limit on the number of drawing entries you can earn. Entry into the grand prize drawing is not a guarantee of winning. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received.
