Economic Engagement

Workshops, research tools, and networking opportunities–we’ll help you grow into your prosperity!

NHFPL is a dynamic partner in the city’s economic infrastructure. Our five buildings operate as learning, cultural and community hubs, contributing  to the stability, safety and livability of our neighborhoods.

Our programs support the needs of financial literacy, workforce readiness and small businesses with frequent in-house workshops and targeted collections. We offer print and electronic investment tools as well as books and databases that provide valuable information for nonprofits, business people and job seekers.

Our unique Nonprofit and Philanthropic Resource Center offers print and electronic resources as well as top-notch proposal-writing seminars that help to build our community’s capacity to serve their constituent communities.
