Come see this traveling mammal and reptile show, you could meet a chinchilla, hedgehog, angora rabbit, lizard, tortoise, snake, or a guinea pig! You can even see a hissing Madagascar cockroach race! All Ages welcome. No registration needed.

Solar Eclipse! | Thurs. Aug 17 | Ives Main | 3:00
Professor Michael Weinstein from Connecticut College will tell us about eclipses. Everybody who comes will receive a free pair of Eclipse Glasses, the only safe way to look at an eclipse without hurting your eyes. Ages 5 and up.

Summer is almost over! Come celebrate with us! We’ll have exciting storytelling with balloons, raffle prizes, and you can pickup your summer learning challenge books and t-shirts if you’ve earned them. All ages welcome!

Celebrate the Solar Eclipse at Stetson | Mon. August 21 | 2:15-3:00
Join us at Stetson as we chart the progress of the eclipse with oreos, do a simple craft, and view the eclipse with our cool solar viewing glasses (provided while supplies last)!

On Monday August 21 there will be a solar eclipse visible from all 50 states and several other countries, too! Families are invited to join us for wonderful programs relating to the eclipse. We’ll have stories, snacks and/or crafts at all branches. Everyone will get a pair of special glasses to view the eclipse, while supplies last. Ages 5 and up.
